MINISTERIAL ALLIANCE
The Ministerial Alliance of Spirit & Truth Christian Ministries consists of all pastors, ordained elders, licensed ministers and ministers-in-training attached to our ministry. The primary responsibility of the Ministerial Alliance is to serve the body through the demonstration of love and faithful stewardship. Secondarily, the Ministerial Alliance is to work diligently to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. Lastly, every member of the Ministerial Alliance is to make themselves available to be trained for service under the tutelage of the Senior Pastor.
The Music & Arts department fulfills the foundational principle of Celebration. The expression of the worship of God can be seen in various forms. Praise and thanksgiving are shown through diversities of arts and ministry components including but not limited to music, dance, drama and creative performance arts.
MUSIC & ARTS
The Ministry of Spiritual Formation of Spirit & Truth Christian Ministries is the primary forum for Christian Education. This ministry is responsible for developing curriculum and teaching material to promote the spiritual growth and personal development of believers in this church body.
SPIRITUAL FORMATION
These are persons who have demonstrated a commitment and anointing as intercessors. They are charged with the responsibility of preparing the sanctuary, through prayer, for the Holy Spirit to move in our worship experiences; interceding daily for the pastors and leadership of the ministry; doing spiritual warfare daily on behalf of the sick and afflicted, the lost and backslidden, and others who need/desire prayer. These individuals are chosen from the membership by the Pastors and/or the Lead Intercessor.
INTERCESSORY PRAYER
Gideon’s Army is the men’s fellowship of Spirit & Truth. Gideon’s Army seeks to: 1) strengthen men in their individual walk of faith; 2) develop and strengthen meaningful relationships between men of faith; 3) prepare men for fruitful, interpersonal relationships; 4) prepare men for leadership roles in the church, home and society.
MEN'S MINISTRY (GIDEON'S ARMY)
WOMEN'S MINISTRY (SWOT: SPIRIT LED WOMEN OF TRUTH)
SWOT is the women’s fellowship of Spirit & Truth. SWOT seeks to: 1) increase spiritual awareness, personal self-worth and identity of women; 2) prepare women for fruitful, interpersonal relationships; 3) provide tools of success for women to exercise in the home, church and society-at-large.
LINAO is an extension of JAWILL Ministries to Spirit & Truth. Our Bishop and Pastor offer LINAO as a ministry designed to strengthen marital relationships through teaching, transparency, fellowship and encouragement. All married members and individuals who are engaged to be married are encouraged to participate with this ministry.
MARRIAGE MINISTRY (LINAO: LEAVING IS NOT AN OPTION)
The Singles Ministry exists for the purpose of assisting unmarried adult members to: 1) develop intense personal relationships with God while single; 2)prepare themselves to be a fitting and faithful spouse to the person of the opposite sex whom God may send their way; 3) add meaning to their current state of singleness; 4) keep themselves sanctified while single; 5) create opportunities for Christian singles to mingle in holiness.
SINGLES MINISTRY
The Children/Youth ministry of Spirit & Truth seeks to: 1) lead young people into a meaningful, salvific relationship with God; 2)teach young people foundational, scriptural/spiritual truths that will help mature them as believers and prepare them for success in life; 3) foster strong relationships between peers; 4) provide opportunities for participation in and creative expression in the life and worship of the church family.
